How Do I Install Blenderverse
-
In your Blender project, change to the Asset Browser by clicking the Editor Type drop-down in the top left corner of any window.
Go to Editor Type → Data → Asset Browser.
- You can also create a new window by hovering over the very corner of a window until your cursor changes to a crosshair icon, and then left clicking and dragging.
- A new external window can also be created by navigating to Window → New Window.
Or go to Window → New Window.
- Alternatively, you can toggle any window to the asset browser by pressing the hotkey Shift + F1 twice, while your cursor is over that window.
- If you’re using a version of Blender older than version 3.0, the Asset Browser will not be supported. In order to use Blenderverse Assets, the files will need to be appended to your current file through File → Append…
Go to File → Append…
- Make sure your Asset Browser view is set to All.
- All Blenderverse assets will be accessible by navigating to the drop-down under All → Blenderverse.
- Under All → Blenderverse there are three subcategories to make finding specific assets easier.
- → Shaders contains all shader materials.
- → Effect Nodes contains all nodes.
- → Demo Scenes contains premade scenes to experiment will.
Access Blenderverse assets through the Asset Browser.
- All assets can be dragged and dropped into your 3D viewport.
- Shaders can be drag-and-dropped directly onto existing objects.
Drag and drop a shader onto an object.
- Any asset file can be opened by right clicking on it in the asset browser and clicking on Open Blend File.
Open any Asset Browser file by going to Asset Context Menu → Open Blend File.
